Ideation Sketch, Concept Refinement
System Architecture/Layout Design, Mechanical Engineering & Prototype in 30 Days
Tandem's design and engineering team worked very closely with client Somabar on the design refinement, layout design and mechanical engineering for the overall archtechiture and enclosure for this sucessful product.
It reached its kickstarter crowdfunding campaign goal by 20X.
The prototype was delivered to SOMA team's office in Los Angeles in 30 days from the first pencil sketch line was laid down on paper.
THE 2016 CES, 170,000 ATTENDEES FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE GATHERED,
2.47 MILLION NET SQUARE FEET OF EXHIBIT SPACE, 25 AWARDS WERE GIVEN,
SOMABAR WAS The Final Design and Innovation Award Winner for the Appliance Category at 2016 CES.
